The city of Quixaba, despite being small, presents a relatively well-developed urban infrastructure. The main roads are paved and the city has essential services such as schools, health clinics, local commerce and a central square, where the community gathers for events and celebrations. The city also has a water supply and sewage network, still expanding, that serves a large portion of the population.
