Located in the heart of the state of Sergipe, Japoatã is a city that, although modest in size, has continuous development potential. With a Human Development Index (HDI) of 0.56, a GDP per capita of R$ 16,000, and a ranking of 4,969th among the 5,570 municipalities in the country, Japoatã presents challenges and opportunities in equal measure.
